Dee Why FC is proud to be one of the oldest and most popular family clubs in Sydney and the oldest club in the Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA).

About Us

As one of the seventeen clubs that form part of the MWFA, Dee Why FC has teams in all age brackets ranging from Under 6’s through to our ALs, WALs and over age squads. In 2024 we are delighted to field our talented Dee Why FC Women's Premier League team. Our Club proudly welcome players of all abilities and all ages.

Since being established in 1946 we have welcomed thousands of individuals to our Club with many families playing for Dee Why FC from one generation to the next.

We are driven to provide quality coaching and development opportunities at an early age and always encourage our volunteer parents to get involved in coaching or managing a team. We have supported many of our parent volunteer coaches to obtain their coaching qualifications including C-Licence. And we strongly encourage our parent members to investigate the free coaching courses offered through the MWFA.

In 2017 the Club started its hugely successful Academy program (now known as Dee Why Player Development, DYPD) under the leadership of A-licensed Coach Ryan Doidge. The program experienced rapid growth and many players from DYPD continue to progress through the program to play representative football for teams across Sydney.

Our Club boasts strong links to the local community, local Primary and High Schools, businesses and Community Clubs. We proudly celebrated our 75th Anniversary in 2021 and continue enjoy year on year player growth.
