GOALKEEPER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM 2024

We are pleased to announce our Goalkeeper Development Program for Season 2024.

The program is planned and delivered by DYFC Co-Technical Director Raihan 'Tex' Anwar. Tex is currently completing his Level 2 Goalkeeper Coach Diploma and has over 8 years of experience in supporting the development of goalkeepers from the grassroots to the elite level.

LOCATION:

Dee Why Oval (In the case of wet weather ground closures, the sessions will be held at Lionel Watts.)

SESSION DETAILS:

Sessions will be one hour each.  3 levels available.

1. Beginner/SAP: U9-U13, 5:30 – 6:30pm
2. Game Training: U14-U16, 6:30-7:30pm
3. Elite: U14 - U18 Times TBC, probably 6:30-7:30pm (NOTE players must trial for the Level 3 program - it is aimed at current NPL players or those at that level)

NOTE: Ages are indicative only.  If there is a GK who is advanced/well-trained then they may be moved to a different group or vice-versa.

COSTS:

Each session costs $15 and must be paid as a block booking e.g., $195 for Block 1 or $150 for Block 2. (The Club is subsidising costs to keep this affordable for our players)

SESSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Arrive early for every session and confirm unavailability by 3pm on the day of the session
• Long pants (track pants are fine)
• Long sleeved shirt/GK Top
• Boots
• Goalkeeper gloves
• Water bottle
